About Me!
Hello! My name is Troy and I’m currently a nursing student. Before nursing school I had minimal experience in the healthcare field. However, through life experiences I was able to get inspired to pursue the amazing profession of nursing.
I was born in the lovely state of Michigan, where we say pop instead of soda and we wear shorts in 50 degree weather because it’s “warm”. I graduated with a B.S. degree in biochemistry at Michigan State University (Go Green!). Even though I have no ties to the state of Ohio, my favorite college sport team is The Ohio St. Buckeyes (O-H!). Yeah, I know what you’re thinking; how does one person graduate from MSU, lives in Michigan, and cheers for both Sparty and Brutus? And my answer to that question is…I don’t know.
I enjoy watching movies, especially movies that allow the villain to be victorious. My favorite movie as of right now would be Avengers Infinity War, Inception, Interstellar, Joker, or any other movie that makes me question what the heck is going on.
What do I want from this blog? I want this blog to affect not only healthcare related employees/students but also people who have no interest in the healthcare field at all. I want as many people as possible to not only relate to my experiences but also find joy/comedic relief to my mistakes. Maybe you as a reader can learn from my mistakes or my experiences and adjust your life accordingly. But at the end of the day, I’m grateful that you, the reader, took the time out to engage with me!
